While taking a Humor in Art course I thought it would be funny to play with money. Money can be destructive and can control us, so I returned the favor.

My special sense of humor and gift to my classmates and instructor of the Humor in Art course. Have you heard of a rodent ball? Well, this was made for roaches. One actually contained a live roach while the others (the gifted ones) contained toy bugs. I wanted to see if they would be accepted if they were initially thought to contain roaches. The answer is yes...Art students...

Premonition
Cement hand cast, Wax, wire.
A severe quarrel with my immediate family resulted in the injury of my right hand. This piece was created a few months before the incident and is an almost perfect mirror of the injury that being of the left hand.

Language, words, they are our primary form of communication. Sometimes it has it's shortcomings and we cannot find enough to say and can even say too much. It can limit and tangle us into web of barriers that we hope to eventually cross. Thankfully, art is a way to communicate through these situations.
